One of my favorite parts of playing Quarterback was the footwork and how when done correctly the position can feel like a dance. Each play has corresponding footwork which helps the qb sync up correctly with his receivers. Maybe because I enjoyed it so much I hated being in the shotgun formation because as hard as you tried idly never was truly the same as the timing you could get from being under center when you took the snap.
